When I was little, I was obsessed with Little Orphan Annie. I thought I was her. I sang her songs. I got a stuffed Sandy dog for my 6th birthday. I LOVED HER. But as I look back in time and think about all of the redheaded stereotypes, I begin to wonder...where oh where do we get the idea of redheads as trouble makers? Could it be Annie?
Or Pippi?

The redheads are always dirty. Even my Strawberry Shortcake doll was frumpy...

Raggedy Ann was quite...raggedy...

How about Anne of Green Gables?

Is something similar? Even Annie has braids in that pic above...Hmmm...How 'bout Wendy?

And then there is always that sultry side of redheads. Like Ariel...

Even my redheaded Sea Wee was sexy...

And the grand mother of all redheaded vixens...Jessica Rabbit...

Oh my poor niece. When will I find a really good redheaded role model?

you won't because we're dirty sexy troublemakers. all of us.
so you'll have to accept that and teach her our ways. :)
Hmmm... Ginny Weasley?
Not all those character are attractive in red colored hair. Very few people can fit with red hair.
Honestly, I have no sympathy. I'm a male redhead. Who do I have to look up to? Bobby Flay, Opie, David Caruso, and that's it.
What about Chuckie, the killer doll? Wasn't he a redhead, too?
